When a bride is searching for the one, sometimes that perfect designer is an ocean away. This is the magical story of Mia, a beautiful bride overseas, who found our Bacolod-based studio through an online search for a plus-size custom A-line bridal gown.
Crafted from luxurious materials like lace and soft tulle, the custom Eleanor gown was the centerpiece of a truly classic celebration, proving that trust and artistry can transcend distance. From our first video consultation to the final fitting, the whole custom journey took us five incredible months.

The journey began not with a local referral, but with an inquiry that popped up from thousands of miles away! Eleanor, a gorgeous bride-to-be, was looking for a designer who truly specialized in curvy and plus-size bridal wear—someone who could deliver on a grand, classic vision without compromising on comfort and a flattering fit.
She knew she wanted a dress that felt regal yet light, perfect for a grand wedding but easy to move and dance in. Her main request was non-negotiable: a dress with long, delicate lace sleeves paired with a beautiful, supportive neckline.
Our initial video consultation was all about getting to know Eleanor and capturing the exact mood she was after. We landed on the timeless A-line silhouette, known for its ability to define the waist and flow beautifully over the hips—it's a truly flattering choice for every figure!
The drawing centered on a deep sweetheart neckline to showcase her stunning décolletage, perfectly balanced by those long, sophisticated sleeves. The sleeves were a sweet tribute to a family member, and it was our job to make sure this personal touch felt airy and modern, not heavy or stuffy. Getting that perfect, supportive fit, even with an initial remote consultation, was our primary focus!
To bring Mia's remote vision to life, the choice of materials was paramount. This is where our dedication to sourcing the best comes into play, ensuring the gown would be as comfortable as it was beautiful.
For the skirt, we used multiple layers of fine bridal tulle over a foundational lining of Taiwan Jusi. Why Taiwan Jusi? It’s a super soft, breathable natural fabric that prevents static cling and keeps the bride cool—essential for an all-day celebration! The gown's delicate charm came from the intricate lace selection: a finely detailed, lightweight corded lace, subtly adorned with exquisite beadwork and sparkling Swarovski crystals, graced the structured bodice for that high-end, dainty look. This was perfectly complemented by a sheer, lace applique on the sleeves, enhancing the overall delicate aesthetic and catching the light beautifully. Inside, we built a fully boned corset bodice with custom cups for amazing, comfortable support, all finished with clean French seams.
The moment Mia stepped into her gown for the final photos was pure magic. The gown didn't just fit her; it celebrated her. The combination of the supportive sweetheart bodice and the graceful flow of the skirt highlighted her figure beautifully.
Standing tall and radiant, the contrast between the rich bodice and the delicate, patterned sleeves gave her a look that was both timeless and entirely her own. With her classic bouquet of white roses and baby's breath, Eleanor embodied the perfect image of a confident, elegant, and loved bride.
